Ciara Mooney

Ciara is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Lethbridge, pursuing a combined degree in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies. She will graduate in June of 2023. She is passionate about the prevention of poverty and over-incarceration within marginalized communities. Her research to date has focused on Indigenous women, immigrant communities and queer communities. Ciara is a first-generation Irish immigrant, and a dedicated dog mom. Any time spent away from her studies is used to spoil her rescue Pitbull Billy.
